Lacey Truett is a car and motorcycle SSCA female racer based in Alabama. She’s also a track manager and she coaches racing clinics for women and teens. Lacey is the first female racer in her family, but her drive for independence started with her father who insisted she learn how to drive “stick shift” and learn how to change the oil and tires on her first car. Lacey began working in the trades and automotive industry as a service writer at a car dealer, but then worked up to service manager since she could diagnose issues in vehicles better than most of the technicians who worked there. Later in life, after a life-changing event, Lacey discovered racing—cars AND motorcycles—she hasn’t looked back since then! Join us in this episode to hear how no heart condition, no motorcycle accident, NO FEAR was going to stop her from doing what she loves!
